-Jim Umbarger’s (8.01) return to the A’s rotation may be a short stay as he cannot seem to find his 1975 groove. He’d leave with the game tied at four and the Rangers would score the winning run on Leon Roberts (.326 6HR) home run off Fernando Arroyo (3-1, 1.64) in the 6th
Kansas City 5 at California 3
-The Angels beat undefeated Paul Splittorff on yesterday and the Royals return the favour today as they hand Dave Goltz (10-1, 2.38) his first defeat.
