Pete Mackinin’s had a 3-run home run of his own, his 2nd, with two outs in the 9th that prevented Mike Caldwell (4-3, 3.05) from a complete game but Tom Murphy (3Sv, 3.65) would come on to save the game for the Brewers
Boston 3 at Kansas City 4
