National League
Los Angeles 5 at Chicago 9 (11)
-The Dodgers visit Wrigley for just one day as a makeup to a rain out and it looked they’d end their 5 game losing streak. The Cubs though would rally for three runs off Elias Sosa – who hadn’t allowed a run this season previously – to tie it and then won it in the bottom of the 11th on Bobby Murcer’s (.227 2HR) walk-off grand slam off Stan Wall. Murcer was released earlier this season by the Giants and signed last week by the Cubs and was making his Wrigley Field debut as a member of the home side.
