Sheldon The Unlikely Power Source in Brewers Opening Day Win

Detroit, MI - Plenty of anticipation for this opening day matchup despite the teams sub .500 records from a season ago. The biggest free agent signing of the offseason was the Brewers plucking MLB Home Run King Ben Oglivie from the last place Tigers. Well he'd go 0-5 in this game but usually light-hitting 2nd baseman Bob Sheldon would pick up the slack with a 3-run home run in the 6th that vaulted the Brewers to victory. #1 overall pick Chet Lemon made his MLB debut for the Tigers in this one and went 1-4 in a losing effort.
