Borgmann Spoils Bonds Big Day in Return to Chicago

Chicago, IL - An offseason swap of catchers between the Twins and White Sox swings in the Twins favour on Opening Day. Glenn Borgmann went 3-3 with 3 RBI's including the game winner as Minnesota rallied for an 8-5 win at Comiskey Park. Bobby Bonds picked up where he left off last season when he hit 36 home runs and stole 42 bases as he had one each in the losing effort. Both of these teams fizzled down the stretch last season, largely because of pitching, especially the Twins who were in 1st place on August 1st but would end up flip-flopping places with the 4th place at that time Oakland A's.
