• Bombo Rivera hit a game winning single in the bottom of the 11th as the Twins rallied from 5-0 in Orlando
• The Expos rallied for the win in Daytona Beach to gain the split. Larry Parrish won it with a double in the bottom of the 9th as the Expos erased a 5-2 deficit
• The A's also rallied from 5-2 down in the 9th as Sal Bando ripped a game winning double off former teammate Jim Perry of the Indians in Phoenix
